RSP are currently recruiting for a Buyer to work at our site in Saltash “the Gateway to Cornwall” perfectly located between the coast and Dartmoor National Park. 

We specialise in the design and manufacture of electrical and electronic housings for control systems, railway signalling and low voltage power distribution applications.   With 85% of our business being related to materials our Buyer is key to everything we do.  From supplier approvals, to obtaining quotes and raising orders you will be responsible for making sure we get the materials we need on time and at the best price.  Additionally, you will support the Sales manager to grow and manage the Supply arm of our business and will be involved in sales providing customer quotes, liaison and account supervision. 

You will be fully empowered to take strategic decisions and drive the company procurement forward as you see best.  We work across various disciplines and industries and therefore the role is highly varied with builds including electrification and plant, CCTV, telecoms, or railway signalling.  Ideally, we would like a candidate with at least 2 years’ experience we are a small, relaxed team so need someone proactive and flexible.  We are happy to take applicants from other business sectors so don’t worry if you don’t know about electrical or signalling industries, we will provide you with all the training you need.
