Cable Change Boxes
Railway Cable Change Boxes, are essentially large Disconnection Boxes (Dis Boxes) or Combined Cable Termination Boxes (CCTBs). These are vital elements within railway signalling and electrical networks. They act as an interface point where two cables of different sizes are connected. Engineered to accommodate a wide range of cable types, sizes and terminations, these boxes support reliable and organised cable management along the rail corridor.
TCB Mounting Options
RSP offers a comprehensive selection of Cable Change Boxes mounting solutions to suit various installation requirements. Options include standard steel mounting stakes, trough-mounted stakes, GRP post mounts, and eco-friendly backfillable bases. All mounting options can be supplied with PADs approval where required.
Cable Change Boxes, can be manufactured in a vast array of enclosure sizes and can come in GRP, Stainless steel or mild steel. To complement this, RSP can supply many mounting options including: concrete base, steel post or wall mounted. All TCB’s can be configured to have any amount and size of terminals mounted internally for use in Signalling and E&P applications i.e. TPWS connections, cable extensions and cable changeover.
